Packaging

Allows to specify the list of allowed external packages and build the new packages. External Package is an external file, that may be copied to the user PC to overwrite or append default virtual package (virtual environment). Note, if the same files or registry item will exist in few packages, the file/registry from the newer package only will be used.

Where packaging can be used? Imagine, the default virtual environment has a size of few thousands megabytes (so output file size is also near this value) and you have already shared the boxed file to many of your customers. Next time you need to update just couple of virtual files in the default environment. Instead of creating of new huge boxed file, you may create a small external package with the two necessary files and send it to customer, so files from this package will overwrite existing files with the same name.

Add a list of allowed file names or file masks that will be accepted as a external package. For example, if you add a file name like "mypack.dat" then while execution of boxed file it will be looking for a file mypack.dat and if it is found - load it content to virtual environment.

Click Package Builder to open a dialog to create new external package.

Interface of Package Builder is similar with the main program's one. There you may also save and load template to/from external template file.

Click Save Package button to generate external package and save it to the file.
